The Mayor’s Great Light Fight is a holiday lights competition open to all residents of Brantford which simply asks residents to share their light displays and help raise spirits and bring festive excitement to the community. The Great Light Fight will take place from November 26th to December 21st 2021. Winners will be announced Friday December 24th.

Enter the photo contest by uploading a photo of your Holiday Lights display. After entering the contest, feel free to drop a pin on our Holiday Lights map so we can make a map of all the holiday light displays in the City and share on social media with #LightFightBrantford.

• Upload your Holiday Lights Photo to enter the contest
• Review the Brantford Holiday Lights map and share your own display to be included (optional)
• Post on social media using #LightFightBrantford (optional)

This year's 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a Best of Brantford gift basket filled with donations from our favourite local vendors and other holiday goodies! More information on prizes will be shared throughout the contest.

Registered homes will be judged by the Mayor Davis and the Mayor's Office based on originality, theme, ability to capture holiday spirit and enthusiasm. Contest deadline is December 21st 2021.
