Hillcrest Park Playground Design Survey
Hillcrest Park option 1 (traditional play equipment)
The first option for new playground equipment at Hillcrest Park includes a traditional platform based playground, and a three bay swing set with an accessible swing. Some of the features that are included in this play design are as follows:
- Psychomotor Course including a spider web net climber and steel climber (accessible from ground level)
- Sit-down-spinner (accessible from ground level)
- Two 6’ slides
- Double slide
- Climbing wall (accessible from ground level)
- Steering wheel (accessible from ground level)
- Binoculars
- Rotating rain stick (accessible from ground level)
- Hammock swing (accessible from ground level)
- Explorer panel (accessible from ground level)
- 2 seat teeter-totter (accessible from ground level)
Hillcrest Park option 2 (circuit style play equipment)
The second option for new playground equipment at Hillcrest Park includes a contemporary circuit playground, and a three bay swing set with an accessible swing. Some of the features that are included in this play design are as follows:
- Slide (Sr. Play)
- 2 seat teeter-totter (accessible from ground level)
- Stand-up-spinner (accessible from ground level)
- Psychomotor Course including an overhead climber, balance beam and cable bridge (partially accessible from ground level)
- Play structure Course including a net climber, leaf steps and an overhead climber (partially accessible from ground level)
- Treehouse slide (Jr. Play)
