The City of Brantford is thrilled to share that it is competing in the Communities in Bloom competition this summer. In 2025, the City was awarded a coveted five-out-of-five blooms at the Communities in Bloom provincial competition, earning the opportunity to compete in the 2026 national competition. This summer, residents are invited to take part in the campaign to help show that Brantford is Bloomin'.
Brantford is Bloomin' Garden Awards
The City of Brantford and the Neighbourhood Alliance of Brantford are pleased to present the Brantford is Bloomin' Garden Awards, where residents can upload a picture of their gardens for a chance to win prizes. Enter the contest by uploading a photo of your garden display. After entering the contest, feel free to drop a pin on our Brantford Is Bloomin' Garden Map so we can make a map of all the garden displays in the City.

There will be a Brantford is Bloomin’ Neighbourhood Winner selected from each neighbourhood. Each neighbourhood winner will then be entered into the City-wide contest for a chance to win:
1st Place: $150 Gift Certificate to Walters Greenhouse
2nd Place: $100 Gift Certificate to Fiori Garden Centre
3rd Place: $50 Gift Certificate to Nicol Florist

Neighbourhood Association Contests
For additional chances to win, residents can visit the social media pages of their Neighbourhood Association to take part in their contests:
Winners of the Neighbourhood Associations' contests will be determined by the individual Neighbourhood Association. The Neighbourhood Award Winner from each Neighbourhood Association will be entered into the City’s contest by the Neighbourhood Association.
Registered homes will be judged by Mayor Davis, the Mayor's Office, and the Neighbourhood Alliance of Brantford (NAB) Executives. The contest deadline is Friday, July 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Personal information on this platform is collected under the authority of section 10(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, and will be used solely to contact those who win the contest so they can claim their prize. Questions about this collection should be directed to the Communications and Community Engagement Division at communications@brantford.ca.
