Balmoral Drive Active Transportation and Traffic Calming Plan
Consultation has concluded
In response to traffic concerns from residents on Balmoral Drive and the surrounding neighbourhood streets, Ward Councillors and City of Brantford Traffic staff held a virtual public meeting in 2022. Residents voiced their concerns regarding community safety and traffic in the neighbourhood.
City Council approved the Active Transportation Master Plan (ATMP) in September 2023, which provides direction to prioritize dedicated bicycle lanes on Balmoral Drive.
City staff have reviewed the comments received and the ATMP and have now created the Balmoral Drive Plan based on your feedback. If you live in the neighbourhood, keep an eye out for a letter inviting you to share your thoughts on the proposed plan.
We want to hear from you!

Share Why does the city not change the speed limit to 50km/hr? Maybe 40 km/hr on school streets but it is extremely slow on regular streets. I will bet that when the speed of cars going down the street is finally tabulated, the average will be between 40km and 50km. on Facebook Share Why does the city not change the speed limit to 50km/hr?
