Thank you to those who participated in the survey to help inform the design of the new playground equipment planned for 77 Stauffer Road, off Hardy Road in Brantford.

We are pleased to be able to share an overview of the survey results below:

  • 63% of survey respondents preferred to see the future playground be in bright colours like yellow, purple, pink, teal, orange, blue etc.

Thank you to those who participated in the survey to help inform the design of the new playground equipment planned for 77 Stauffer Road, off Hardy Road in Brantford.

We are pleased to be able to share an overview of the survey results below:

  • 63% of survey respondents preferred to see the future playground be in bright colours like yellow, purple, pink, teal, orange, blue etc.
  • 58% of survey respondents preferred Option 1: Traditional Playground Equipment. A classic platform-based play structure with slides, climbers and fun activity panels. Additional traditional play features include; a Saddle Seat Spinner, Spinnatorium, Geodesic Climber, Mogal Slide, Hand Rings, Big Kahuna Climber, Bump and Glide Slide , Bongo Steppers and Hurricane Climber.

In addition to the new playground equipment, the updated park will include a 3-bay swing set with an inclusive swing and toddler seat, accessible paved pathways with an extended walking loop, seating, bike rack, new tree plantings and a shade structure. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2027.
