West Brant neighbourhood traffic plan

In response to concerns from residents in the West Brant Neighbourhood, Ward Councillors and City of Brantford Traffic staff held a public meeting on March 6, 2023. Residents voiced their concerns regarding community safety and traffic in the neighbourhood. City staff have reviewed the comments received and developed a Neighbourhood Traffic Plan to address the concerns. Households in the neighbourhood were sent a letter inviting residents to share their feedback on the proposed plan.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this project page by sharing a comment in the forum or asking a question. Staff are now reviewing all the feedback and will conduct additional traffic studies before finalizing the traffic plan. Once ready, the report will be presented to Brantford City Council for consideration in fall 2024. Subscribe to updates to this page to be made aware when the final recommendations are ready.
