Noise Control By-law Survey

The City of Brantford is reviewing its Noise Control By-law that restricts excessive noise like loud music or barking dogs. The by-law is intended to balance everyday activities with the need to limit excessive or disruptive noise that would interfere with someone’s enjoyment of their home. City of Brantford staff are seeking input on the Noise Control By-law from the public. The short survey will help inform a staff report that will be presented to Brantford City Council. 

Please complete the survey by January 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. 

Please note that the personal information collected from this engagement is collected under the authority of Section 10 (1) of Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, and will only be used for the purposes of informing the City’s Noise Control By-law review.
